
Scottie Barnes showed standout defensive impact and expanded offensive contributions during the season. He began October averaging over 20 points per game and shot 50% from three, then settled into more typical shooting while still demonstrating improved perimeter scoring. He made a second All-Star appearance and hit a game-winning three-pointer. He won Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Month for October/November, the first Raptor to receive the award, and also earned Eastern Conference Player of the Week. He was named to the All-Defensive second team after leading the league in total stocks for much of the season. He averaged 18.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists, with above-30% three-point shooting for the third time in his career.
