All PS Plus Tiers Now Cost More For New Cusomters
PlayStation Plus subscription prices increased for new customers and returning subscribers in certain regions, including the United States. The Essential tier rose from $9.99 to $10.99 per month and from $24.99 to $27.99 for three months. Premium and Extra also increased, with Premium moving from $17.99 to $19.99 per month and from $49.99 to $54.99 for three months, while Extra moved from $14.99 to $16.99 per month and from $39.99 to $43.99 for three months. Sony stated the increases do not apply to existing customers in most places, except in India and Turkey, and annual pricing was not increased. Online multiplayer on PS5 and PS4 requires PS Plus, except for free-to-play titles.

When Sony announced the price increase on Monday, it only shared the new prices for the Essential tier. It did, seemingly, hint at or imply that there would be other price increases with the line "prices will start at..." but honestly, it's pretty crappy of Sony to obfuscate the fact that all tiers were going up."
"And why? People were going to find out soon enough and be just as mad. And keep in mind that to play games online on a PS5 or PS4, you have to pay for PS Plus. (Free-to-play games like Fortnite are exempt from this rule, however.) So for m"
