
Dozens of producers and makers of cheeses, olive oils, charcuterie, chocolates, spices, wines, sake, and cocktails appeared at the Third Annual Rockridge Market Hall Indie Food Fest in Oakland on May 9, 2026. The event drew strong attendance and included two featured authors. David Lebovitz, visiting from Paris, signed copies of his newly revised Ready for Dessert and The Great Book of Chocolate. Ashy Loupy, co-author of The Diaspora Spice Co. Cookbook, offered spice blends. Held just before Mother’s Day, the fest also featured special items from Market Hall shops, including Billingsgate Seafood, Marin Sun Farms Butcher, Market Hall Bakery, Market Hall Foods, Market Hall Produce, Paul Marcus Wines, The Pasta Shop, and Wild Flower and Fern. Market Hall is preparing menus and products for Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Pride, and July 4 picnic favorites.
