"Another name for the Bulls' coaching search: Jerry Stackhouse, fresh off a stint as a Warriors assistant, has emerged as a candidate in Chicago."
"Stackhouse served as head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores from 2019-2024, compiling a 70-92 record. While the overall record leaves room for debate, he did earn both the 2022-23 SEC Coach of the Year and Ben Jobe National Coach of the Year awards."

"Bulls insider K.C. Johnson also added San Antonio Spurs associate head coach Sean Sweeney to the list of names. Stackhouse now joins a growing list of candidates that includes Charlotte Hornets assistant Lamar Skeeter, Atlanta Hawks assistant Ryan Schmidt, New Orleans Pelicans interim head coach James Borrego, Portland Trail Blazers interim head coach Tiago Splitter, Minnesota Timberwolves lead assistant Micah Nori, Oklahoma City Thunder assistant Dave Bliss, and Bulls assistant Wes Unseld Jr."
