A teenage cyclist was transported to Wexford General Hospital after a collision with a car on Saturday evening. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 23, just before 5 p.m. at the junction of Slaney Street and Island Road on Mary’s Street. Emergency services and members of An Garda Síochána attended the scene. The cyclist is in his mid-teens and was taken to Wexford General Hospital for assessment. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.
