Bayern Munich has a strong, openly stated interest in Hertha Berlin midfielder Kennet Eichhorn. Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl said the club would not do its job properly without considering Eichhorn when he is seen. Eberl emphasized that the club must evaluate whether Eichhorn is a fit and what his and his management’s vision is, while noting that whether a transfer happens is a separate matter. Eichhorn’s decision is likely tied to playing time and opportunity. If he believes he can secure enough minutes at Bayern, he could seriously consider the move. If not, another Bundesliga club could pursue him instead.
"“When you see Kenny Eichhorn, we wouldn't be doing our job properly if we didn't consider him. Now we have to see if it's a fit and what his and his management's vision is. Whether it actually happens is a completely different matter,” Eberl said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia)."
"For Eichhorn, the question likely revolves around playing time and opportunity. If the youngster believes he can get the requisite minutes at Bayern Munich, he could heavily consider such a move. If not, another Bundesliga club could take the lead."
