Apple's Siri Could Get a Grammarly-Like AI Writing Tool at WWDC
Apple is reportedly preparing iOS 27 features for WWDC 2026, including AI writing tools for Siri that provide suggested revisions users can accept individually, accept all, or reject all. The writing capability would work alongside “Write With Siri,” a keyboard tool for generating texts, emails, and essays. iOS 27 may also expand Shortcuts by allowing users to create shortcuts using prompts describing desired actions, reducing reliance on developer-created shortcuts. Apple may further enable native AI wallpaper creation for lock and home screens. These changes aim to narrow the AI feature gap with Google and Samsung while maintaining Apple’s privacy-focused positioning.
"Users have already been able to craft AI wallpapers in other apps and add them to the home and lock screens, but in the next version of iOS, this may be natively supported."
