Director Jeff Fowler confirmed on Twitter that filming for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has wrapped.
Jim Carrey will return as Dr. Robotnik in the upcoming Sonic movie.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 will draw inspiration from the video games Sonic Adventure 2 and a Shadow-centric spin-off game from 2005.
Idris Elba will feature as Knuckles in the movie and will have his own spin-off mini-series.
Sega announced a remastered version of Sonic Generations, featuring Shadow the Hedgehog, to release in Autumn 2024.
