Soda cans are exploding on Southwest flights due to sky-high temperatures

Summer temperatures are so high that they've created problems at cruising altitude, causing overheated beverages to burst midair on Southwest Airlines flights.
Some 20 flight attendants have been injured by exploding cans this summer, including one who required stitches. Southwest is taking measures to keep beverages cooler and mitigate hazards.
