Intel rolls out another fix for its CPU voltage issues
Briefly

Intel has identified four scenarios causing voltage stability issues in its Core 13th and 14th-gen processors, primarily rooted in faulted microcode algorithms and power settings.
The main concern arose from microcode algorithms incorrectly sending elevated voltage requests, resulting in instability that could lead to computer crashes and failures.
Intel's new microcode patch, codenamed 0x12B, addresses elevated core voltage requests happening during light activity, with distribution to manufacturers underway but rollout may take weeks.
Customers have faced these issues since 2022, but it wasn't until July 2023 that Intel pinpointed the microcode errors contributing to the voltage problems.
