The Sharks announced they have cut three forwards and four defensemen from their preseason roster, leaving 49 players as they prepare for the regular season.
Mitchell Russell, Lucas Vanroboys, and Anthony Vincent are among the forwards sent to the Barracuda's training camp, along with four defensemen including Artem Guryev.
Artem Guryev, returning from shoulder surgery, and others like Braden Hache, whose team won the Memorial Cup, will continue their development with the Barracuda.
The Sharks have to trim down their roster by 26 more players before opening the regular season on October 10 against the Blues.
