The San Jose Sharks reduced their training camp roster by 13 players, moving some to their AHL affiliate, Barracuda, while sending others back to juniors.
Without goalies Aaron Dell and Dawson Cowan, the Sharks now have five healthy goalies in camp, but Yaroslav Askarov is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Several players, including captain Logan Couture and defensemen Marc-Edouard Vlasic, are currently unable to practice due to injuries, impacting the team's depth.
The training camp currently consists of 56 players, including 32 forwards and 19 defensemen, as they prepare for the upcoming season and preseason games.
