Ten years ago, I gathered with parents and Balboa Street merchants to discuss bringing more vitality to Outer Richmond. Through these meetings, we introduced the annual Halloween celebration BalBOOa Fright Fest, attracting over 3,000 participants in its first year.

While Outer Richmond is known for its residential focus, we must attract businesses throughout the community. To achieve this, the area must be safe, convenient, and clean. Enhancements proposed include installing traffic lights, tripling law enforcement presence, improving cleanliness on commercial streets, graffiti removal, daily maintenance of median strips, timely trash collection, and increasing parking spaces.
