Components for pagers used in Lebanon blasts not from Taiwan, minister says
Briefly

The components used in the pagers that detonated in Lebanon were confirmed not to be manufactured in Taiwan, as stated by Taiwan's Economy Minister Kuo Jyh-huei.
Taiwan-based company Gold Apollo emphasized that it didn't manufacture the explosive devices, and the pagers traced back to BAC in Budapest, which has a license to use Gold Apollo's brand.
As investigations continue into any potential links between Taiwan's tech supply chains and the Lebanese attack, the President of Gold Apollo was questioned by prosecutors.
Security sources attributed responsibility for the explosions on Tuesday to Israel, although Israeli officials have not commented on the attacks.
