The DEA has adjusted the 2024 production quota for ADHD medication Vyvanse, increasing it from 26,500 to 32,736 kilograms to meet rising demands.
The production increases for Vyvanse alone may not solve the issue, as other ADHD medications are still experiencing shortages.
Experts are hopeful that similar adjustments for other stimulant medications are forthcoming, as the supply chain issues continue to impact treatment availability.
