Adrienne Johnson, 45, was found inside her car with multiple gunshot wounds outside a business in the Airport neighborhood, Riverside police said in a Sept. 15 Facebook post.
David Johnson pulled up behind her, got out and shot her several times, then fled. The investigation into the motive is ongoing.
David Johnson was arrested on Sept. 13 and booked on a murder charge into the Robert Presley Detention Center, where he's being held without bail.
