A young British man, Jay Slater, 19, has been reported missing in Tenerife while on holiday for a music festival. He last contacted his friend, stranded in the mountains with low battery and dehydration needs.
The Foreign Office is assisting the family in the search for the missing man. His friends travelled with him for the NRG music festival, where he got lost in the mountains after a night out.
