"Lately, we've been suffering a little bit, well actually, we've been suffering a lot," said Hollie Contreras, emphasizing the significant impact construction has had on takeout sales.
"Just to the general person driving by, these places don't look open," said John Myers, highlighting the visibility issues businesses are facing due to construction.
"I understand the city needs fixing, and all the streets need fixing. Everybody is here to better the city, but at the same time, so many businesses are suffering down here," expressed Contreras.
Moreno mentioned plans to meet with business owners and Oncor representatives to discuss the situation, while appreciating Oncor's commitment to add signage for visibility.
