"Frehley told fans via social media the fall had been minor, but that he would still need to cancel a performance in California, scheduled for Sept. 26. Then, on Oct. 6, he canceled the rest of his 2025 tour dates due to ongoing medical issues. The coroner's report noted that Frehley suffered severe bruising, facial fractures near the eyes and left ear and an ultimately fatal brain bleed, NJ Advance Media said."
Ace Frehley died Oct. 16 in Morristown, New Jersey, at age 74 from blunt trauma injuries sustained in a fall at his home weeks earlier. The Morris County Medical Examiner ruled the manner of death an accident and reported severe bruising, facial fractures near the eyes and left ear, and a fatal brain bleed. Frehley had announced the fall as minor but canceled a Sept. 26 performance and then all remaining 2025 tour dates on Oct. 6 due to ongoing medical issues. Family described being devastated, recounted surrounding him with peaceful words in his last moments, and he was buried in the Bronx with close friends and original KISS members present.
