Los Angeles could end COVID vaccination rule for city employees

City officials are recommending that the Los Angeles City Council halt the requirement as early as June, ending a rule in place for three years to protect against COVID-19.

Employee groups did not oppose ending the requirement, which defined 'fully vaccinated' workers as those receiving one dose of single-shot or both doses of two-shot vaccines.
