Three police hurt and 40 arrests at pro-Palestinian march in London

Three police officers were injured during a pro-Palestine demonstration in Westminster. One officer sustained a serious facial injury after being hit with a bottle thrown from the crowd. The Met made 40 arrests for various offenses including assaults on emergency workers and obstruction of the highway.
The protest began in Whitehall, with the majority of the 8,000 to 10,000 protesters leaving without incident. However, around 500 individuals continued the protest. Some resistors were forcibly removed by the police, while the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign organized the march to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.
