Preliminary plans for Stratford station redevelopment have been initiated due to overcrowding. Arup, Grimshaw, and 5th Studio, among others, will work on design options and strategic business cases to improve capacity and passenger experiences.
The redevelopment aims to integrate station upgrades with new homes and employment spaces, along with enhancing public realms to benefit the wider Stratford community. Multiple stakeholders, including LLDC, Network Rail, and Transport for London, are involved in the project.
