More than 130,000 people in England will be offered free workplace health checks for the first time, under a new NHS scheme aimed at preventing cardiovascular diseases.
Health minister Andrew Gwynne stated, '... we know so many deadly diseases can be avoided if we seek help in enough time.' This initiative focuses on prevention and economic productivity.
