Samsung is rolling out Samsung Health Assistant, an AI health coach integrated into the Health app that answers health, sleep, and activity questions and offers tips. The assistant is presumably powered by Google's Gemini and encourages users to log health data while explicitly not diagnosing or treating medical conditions. Samsung previously released an AI-powered Running Coach that uses activity data and a short running test to build personalized training plans. A beta screen recording showed the assistant suggesting activities to increase daily activity goals after detecting low activity levels. The feature is expected to launch later this year. Other wearables vendors also offer AI chatbots.
