The European Union's new Entry/Exit System (EES) will launch on November 10th, requiring travellers to provide biometrics and personal data for security and visa tracking.
EES aims to enhance security checks on passports and automatically monitor the 90-days of visa-free travel for non-EU citizens across the EU and Schengen zone.
After the implementation of EES, the European Union plans to introduce ETIAS, which will further streamline the entry process for travelers to the region.
New budget airline routes will begin this autumn, including EasyJet's year-round service between Strasbourg and London, and increased flights between Paris and Newcastle.
