Bangladesh Protesters Want Nobel Laureate to Advise New Government

We have decided that an interim government should be formed with Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus as the chief adviser, Nahid Islam, one of the student leaders, said on Tuesday morning.
Mr. Yunus, 84, to hold one of the most powerful positions in the new government. However, it remains unclear how much the student groups can influence the new governing arrangement and Mr. Yunus's role in it.
Mr. Yunus was born in 1940 in the city of Chittagong. He returned to Bangladesh in the early 1970s and launched a project that gave small loans to the poor. The bank grew steadily and inspired microfinance projects in dozens of countries.
