Three residents have died as a result of an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease at Peregrine Senior Living at Shaker, which has sickened at least seven others. Water tests confirmed the presence of Legionella bacteria.
Albany County Health Department has implemented restrictions on water use at the home and installed filters on some showers and sinks while further tests are conducted to ensure safety.
