shape-shifting rod curtain and curved walls take over parkway clinic in tehran
Briefly

The color palette chosen for this space is ruled by soft white versus a rough green, creating a unique duality. The architects propose a clean layout with curved corners to create the illusion of a larger space, taken over by a grid structure that enhances the overall flow of movement in the clinic.
The design team introduces a white sculptural volume to solve the functional challenges, reducing the impression of a compact space by blurring sharp lines and creating ambiguity in space boundaries.
A functional visual axis guides visitors from the waiting area to treatment rooms, with a small window allowing natural light and outside views. The design incorporates a network that transforms into various elements like seating benches, curtains, and ceiling decorations.
Growing plants on the network create a gentle shade for the dazzling light of south-facing windows, integrating nature into the interior design.
