A guide to the Nature Index
Briefly

The Nature Index is a database that tracks contributions to research articles in high-quality natural-science and health-science journals, indicating global high-quality research output and collaboration. It uses absolute and fractional counts at institutional and national levels to provide insights.
The Count metric assigns a value of 1 to a country/territory or institution for each article with at least one author from that entity, regardless of the number of authors. The Share metric ensures fair distribution of credit, calculated based on authorship shares.
