Chicago White Sox placed starting outfielder Andrew Benintendi on the 10-day injured list due to left Achilles tendinitis.
Benintendi, who is batting .195 with five doubles, four home runs, and 18 RBIs, is part of a struggling White Sox team with the worst record in the majors at 15-44.
Outfielder Oscar Colas was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte to replace Benintendi. Colas had a brief appearance earlier this season and is performing decently in Charlotte.
