The Boat Tram is one of three open-air streetcars in Muni's roster, originally built in the 1930s for Blackpool, England. Other heritage vehicles include Car 496 from Melbourne, Car 1 - Muni's first electric streetcar from 1912, and Milan Car 1895.
Special 'Hyde Ride' cable car service on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays offers a 30-minute roundtrip with stunning views of San Francisco landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
