Musk emphasized the need for recent layoffs and restructuring at Tesla, stating it was to 'prepare the company for the next phase of growth' during the recent Q1 2024 earnings call.
After Tesla's Annual Stockholders' Meeting, Musk highlighted that the company was not just 'opening a new chapter for Tesla' but was 'starting a new book.'
