A knife-wielding man attacked a 16-year-old boy on a "2" train in the Bronx early Tuesday morning, slashing his head unprovoked.
The NYPD reported that the suspect fled the scene at East 160th Street and Prospect Avenue station, leaving the victim with a head laceration.
Victim, treated for injuries at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, is in stable condition, while police continue to search for the suspect.
NYPD has released photo and video footage of the suspect, urging the public to bring any information to Crime Stoppers for investigation.
