The Atlanta Braves have optioned catcher Chadwick Tromp to Gwinnett after today's game.
Tromp filled in for Sean Murphy after Murphy went on the IL, showing good defense and staff work.
Chadwick Tromp, a 29-year-old from Aruba, will now play regularly for Triple-A Gwinnett.
The Braves plan to add a position player to the active roster before their next game in Boston.
